Eighteen years after the Seitei War, sorcery is no longer a secret. Chihiro Rokuhira, a young sorcerer-blacksmith, lives only to avenge his father Kunishige, murdered by the criminal group the Hishaku, who stole six of the seven Enchanted Blades he had forged.
Armed with Enten, the seventh blade designed to destroy all the others, Chihiro hunts down the members of the Hishaku one by one across a Japan where ancestral clans and government agencies each conceal their own secrets.
