The Seitei War
The founding conflict that shaped modern Japan — and gave birth to its greatest hidden tragedy.

Eighteen years ago, the discovery of the Datenseki drove the Mikaboshi clan to invade Japan to reclaim its former territory, triggering the Seitei War. The country, initially powerless against this unknown sorcery, seemed doomed to defeat.
The tide of the war turned when master blacksmith Kunishige Rokuhira created the Enchanted Blades, finally giving Japan the means to push back the invasion.
But victory came at a price kept hidden for a long time: after the war, Akemura Soga used a forbidden technique, the Curse, to slaughter around 200,000 civilians on Shokoku island, claiming to act to protect the country. This unspoken trauma still runs through the entire current plot.
