Seiichi Samura

Seiichi Samura is one of the original bearers of the Enchanted Blades, holder of Tobimune, a blade he will later pass on to his daughter Iori. His position among the bearers grants him respected status.

In secret, however, he made a pact with the Hishaku, going so far as to betray his fellow blade bearers during the events at Senkutsuji temple — a decision with devastating consequences for his own.

Despite this betrayal, Seiichi dies fighting Akemura Soga to protect Chihiro, a final act that considerably complicates how his character is read.
