The Enchanted Blades
Seven blades forged to change the course of a war — six stolen, one alone meant to destroy them all.
During the Seitei War, as Japan seemed doomed against the invasion of the Mikaboshi clan, master blacksmith Kunishige Rokuhira created seven witch blades of unmatched power. These Enchanted Blades turned the tide of the conflict and pushed back the invader.
The seventh, Enten, was forged afterward with a specific purpose: to destroy the other six. Kunishige knew the power of his creations was too dangerous to remain without a counterweight. It is this blade that his son Chihiro Rokuhira inherited, and he remains its sole bearer today.
When the criminal group the Hishaku assassinated Kunishige and stole six of the seven blades, they left Chihiro with only Enten — and a reason to hunt each of them down across the country.
